Do I qualify?

Pick a home and answer three questions to see if your household fits one of our available homes before you pay the $50 application fee. Nothing you type here is sent to us unless you press Send at the end.

1 Which home?

Project Based apartments are not listed here. They are filled only from the HANO waitlist.

2 How many people will live in the home?

Count everyone, including you and every child.

3 Do you have a Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) right now?
4 Total monthly income of everyone in the home

Before taxes. Include jobs, Social Security, SSI, disability, unemployment, child support and any regular help from family or friends — for every person who will live there.

Income limits

Our Rent Restricted homes have income limits. Your household’s total income before taxes must be at or below the limit for your household size. The limits apply to voucher holders too. Without a voucher, your household’s income must also be at least 3 times the rent: $2,508 a month for the one-bedrooms at 3501 St. Claude and $2,949 a month for the two-bedrooms. This check is not an approval or a denial. It only uses what you type. We decide eligibility after you apply and we verify income.
